IBB 2017 closed on Sunday, after an unexpected cheese tasting workshop and some moop lines. We finally left the wood that has been hour home.
The switch to a self-reliant event have been a gamble, nobody actually knew what would happen. But it looked like stripping down the event empowered the participants and opened up new opportunities, in the spirit of immediacy, creativity and collaboration. We spent nights singing around the bonfire, dancing during dj sets, participating to unusual workshops, gazing dreamlike artworks along the river and burning a gigantic wooden hedgehog (a.k.a. "La Topa").
Activities fluidly changed, giving room to unexpected shamanic ceremonies, workshops, food tastings and meditation. Anything was just perfect!
These days have been strong, genuine and truly inspiring. When women and men allow themselves to be free they really bloom, anyone could see. Let's just thank ourselves for letting us be the ones we really are.
See you at IBB 2018!
